2022 Season of Colours
- This event has passed.
We are excited to present Season of Colours as we explore Saskatchewan history in 2022 with a visit to Doukhobor Dugout House.
To comply with Covid-19 precautions, only self-guided tours will be available and will include visits to:
- Doukhobor dugout house
- Ospennia Spring
- The new Doukhobor barn
- Tolstoy house
- Museum of artifacts
- Gift shop
- Donna’s Doukhobor Prayer Home, a project undertaken in the past year to renovate the Prayer Home. The project was started by Donna Choppe prior to her passing in January of 2020, and continues through the generosity of many donors and those who purchased Doukhobor bread in the summer and fall of 2020.
New this year for your relaxation before or after your self-guided tour is our outdoor patio, Peter Verigin The Lordly Patio, overlooking the river valley. Food and beverages will be served. Learn more about Peter Verigin.
Admission is $10 per person. Cash-only payment is accepted at the gate.
We look forward to seeing you safely on July 2 or one of the following Saturdays in July. Thank you for supporting local heritage.
If you wish to donate to Donna’s project, the renovation of the Doukhobor Prayer Home, please e-transfer or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you prefer to donate by cheque, please send to: Doukhobor Dugout House, Box 433, Blaine Lake SK S0J 0J0. Charitable receipts can be made available upon request. Thank you for your support.
