2021 Season of Colours

Season of Colours:

July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, 2021

We are excited to present Season of Colours as we explore Saskatchewan history in 2021 with a visit to Doukhobor Dugout House.

To comply with Covid-19 precautions, only self-guided tours will be available and will include visits to:

  • Doukhobor dugout house
  • Ospennia Spring
  • The new Doukhobor barn
  • Banya
  • Tolstoy house
  • Museum of artifacts
  • Gift shop
  • Donna’s Doukhobor Prayer Home, a project undertaken in the past year to renovate the Prayer Home. The project was started by Donna Choppe prior to her passing in January of 2020, and continues through the generosity of many donors and those who purchased Doukhobor bread in the summer and fall of 2020.

New this year for your relaxation before or after your tour is our outdoor patio, Peter Verigin The Lordly, overlooking the river valley. Food and beverages will be served. Read about Peter Verigin

When you arrive, you will be given your coloured tour card. You will then park and meet at the Canadian flag at tour time. Groups will be determined by the colour of your card. Please note that the tour will involve walking, and we ask that you wear a mask.

Admission is $10 per person. Cash-only payment is accepted at the gate. Tours will be held at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. Those taking the tour will be able to purchase loaves of Doukhobor bread by ordering and paying in advance.
We look forward to seeing you safely on July 3 or one of the following Saturdays in July. Thank you for supporting local heritage.
